Iroquois Building
The Iroquois Apartments were designed by famed Pittsburgh architect Frederick Osterling. Construction began in 1901 and the building, which stretches from Meyran to Atwood streets along Forbes Avenue, was completed in 1903.
Now used as an office building, the Iroquois is connected to the newer Forbes Tower and houses many health sciences researchers and staff members from various departments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. A variety of retail shops and restaurants are located on the first floor. |
