Graduate School
of Public Health
Located on Fifth Avenue in Oakland, the Graduate School of Public Health (Parran Hall) is situated in easy proximity to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
The school was founded in 1948 with a $13.8 million grant from the A.W. Mellon Educational and Charitable Trust.
Trivia tidbit: The sculpture which graces the outside of Parran Hall is called "Man," and was created by Virgil Cantini, a former University of Pittsburgh faculty member.
